The 21st International Conference on Environmental Ergonomics (ICEE 2026) welcomes full paper submissions that present original research, innovative methodologies, and significant contributions to theory and practice. Submission of a full paper is optional and independent of abstract submission.
All accepted full-papers will be published in a SCOPUS-indexed proceedings.
1. Manuscript Length
- The full paper should be approximately 3,000–3,500 words.
- The word count excludes the abstract, tables, figures, and references.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English and organized using the following mandatory sections:
- Structured Abstract
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusions
- Acknowledgements (if applicable)
- References
3. Structured Abstract
Maximum length: 250 words. The abstract must include the following headings:
- Objectives: Briefly state the aim(s) of the study.
- Design: Describe the study design or research approach.
- Methods: Summarize participants, procedures, instruments, and analyses.
- Results: Present the key findings.
- Discussion: Brief interpretation of the findings.
- Conclusions: Main conclusions and implications.
4. Formatting Requirements
- Manuscripts must follow APA formatting style.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.
- Text must be double-spaced and justified.
- Pages should be numbered consecutively.
- Headings and subheadings must follow APA style.
5. Figures and Tables
- Figures and tables must be high resolution and clearly legible.
- Each figure and table must be cited in the text and numbered consecutively.
- Captions should be placed below figures and above tables.
- Online color may be used where necessary.
- Authors are responsible for publication-quality figures and tables.
6. Ethical Approval
- Ethical approval is mandatory for studies involving human participants or animals.
- Authors must state the approving IRB/Ethics Committee and approval reference number.
- For studies not requiring ethical approval, the reason must be explicitly stated.
Example: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of [Institution Name] (Approval No. XXX).
7. Citations and References
- In-text citations must follow APA style.
- References must be formatted according to APA reference guidelines.
- Authors are responsible for accuracy and completeness of references.
8. Originality and Publication Ethics
- Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- All manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism.
- Authors must adhere to ethical standards in research reporting and authorship.
9. Language and Proofreading
- Manuscripts must be written in clear and grammatically correct English.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to proofread manuscripts prior to submission.
